The Hedge is a dangerous place, filled with all manner of odd fae beings. Many of them are tricksters, but just as many wish little more than to feast on your bones...and then there's Nox.

Nox is rather singularly fixated on weaving. It doesn't really matter WHAT he makes, just that he's making it . Blouses, scarves, towels, rugs, tapestries, socks, anything. He enjoys assembling outfits that nobody will ever wear. If there is a deeper motivation behind it, Nox has never told a soul.

He's witty, charming, and rather charismatic, and delights in a bit of banter whenever some poor Lost passes through his lonely Hollow. But he doesn't suffer guests beyond a chat, shooing them out once he's lost interest. He's compassionate, but also fickle, and he prefers the quiet.

That is, until a wind-up doll stumbled into his little corner of the Hedge, casting an open promise to the Wyrd before falling into catatonia. This one was different, wasn't it? And they'd just wrote a blank check with their words. Well, Nox could use an extra set of hands...

OMG. 29 years ago I put an Easter egg in Duke Nukem 3D Mac, that replaced two of the in-game posters with pictures of a couple plush animals I had. I never told anyone other than my wife about the code (DNGLENDA) and completely forgot I did this. 1/2

Tracy found a new sense of purpose as an assistant tailor for Nox, an odd, moth-like hobgoblin whom he began to fall in love with. However, his return home to Rosewick was fraught with anger & grief, finding the fetch his Keeper replaced him with dating the man he had yearned to be with for almost a decade.

His return set off a tragic chain of events. His Fetch's downward spiral into despair as they learned that the last 5 years of their life were built on a lie, as they learned what they were. The reveal of Tracy’s identity to his former love, Cecil, upending their life as they tried to make sense of it all. And a harrowing, heartbreaking confrontation with a Huntsman on the beach that marked the death of the Fetch, and a final, tearful goodbye between Tracy and Cecil, the pain and sadness of everything too much to allow them to carry on together.

But sweetness follows the bitter, as Nox revealed their own love for Tracy. Things would never be the same as they once were, but after so long, he felt hopeful for the future again.

Never Leave Home Without

Lou is always prepared, or at least he tries to be. He never goes anywhere without his bag, which contains just about everything he might need while doing investigative work.

Even when he’s doing normal errands, he always has his notebook and polaroid camera on hand, just in case something unusual happens. He also has an old-school tape-recorder, but it is often forgotten in one of his bag’s many pockets.

COLD IRON NAIL

Iron in its purest form is incredibly rare,likely to only be found in antique stores or historical sites. ‘Cold iron’, by definition, cannot be mass-produced, cast or created by mechanical means, and must be composed of mostly pure iron.

As he followed this thread, he learned of mysterious music that played all along a single street in old town, & a solitary silver bell laying at road’s end.

He was warned quite by chance,to dispose of the bell by a local legend, Granny Smokes.

“Rotate three times widdershins, then throw the bell into the woods, dear,” She’d said, “And from now, until you pass the threshold of your door back home, do not look at the moon.” She’d been dreadfully serious, and Lou trusted her words.

But his curiosity got the best of him. And that night?

Lou learned the hard way that there are some threads best left unfollowed...
