At least at my CS provider (Solstice) the “fee” is just a fraction of your credit (80% in my case) they credit your bill $20, charge you $16, you get $4 net. No credit, no fee. I think that’s how other providers do it too, but I’m not 100% sure. So my “impossible” statement was maybe too confident

That's why I called him "nimby aligned." The nimbys thought he was a better choice, and he didn't try very hard to dissuade them of that, but I recognize its possible he'll be a pro-housing mayor. Regardless, it is worrying to see a DSA candidate primary a good, pro-housing mayor.

The Michigan primary result you should really be fretting about is the Ann Arbor mayoral primary, where the pro-housing incumbent (Christopher Taylor) lost to the nimby-aligned DSA guy (Yousef Rabhi)
