Looking south with a clear view from an upper floor of an apartment building on Bloor Street in Toronto, you can see the south side of Lake Ontario, and the skyline of Niagara Falls is visible. Today there's a solitary puff of cloud, I think mist coming up off the falls.

today is Fishtopher's "birthday"! A year ago today, a round tabby boy was rescued by Homeward Bound in NJ. he was scared, sick, and sad. he is no longer any of those things now❤️‍🩹 we consider his rescue intake date the start of his new, happier life 💙🐟🥰

An old photo of Fishtopher, a brown tabby cat with green eyes. This is from when he had recently been rescued off the streets. His cheeks are much rounder, making his eyes seem smaller. He looks slightly sad, but looks up at the cameraperson with round green eyes. He is tucked into the back portion of his kennel area, his tail covering his legs.

Fishtopher now. He is sitting on a tile floor in between two other cats, Matilda and Mr Lover. Fishtopher looks at the camera and has his tongue sticking out. His cheeks are smaller, but his eyes are brighter and he almost looks to be smiling. Matilda, a white cat to the left, has her mouth open as she licks her lips.

I went to daycamp today and played with my friends. The counselors said I was “very vocal,” but I just wanted to tell everyone about my weekend. Also, I made the human a picture 🍁 It looks like the trees we saw yesterday! #DogsOfBlueSky

“Art” done by Rory. There is a outline of a bare tree (trunk and branches). In place of leaves there are 4 or 5 of Rory’s paw prints in yellow paint. Their outline’s have been done in gold marker.
“Rory” has been written on the top left of the picture and the top right reads “Fall ‘23”
