#ForestFriday #scape #photography #classicmono Walking through a forested area, spotting fallen logs, such as this one, amongst the standing trees and by a stream. I was happy to see these logs left alone, just as they are, since they provide habitat for so many creatures, and also feed the forest.

When shrinking Bears Ears National Monument, the Trump admin claimed that recreation at the site was impossible. ​ In a NY times story, Steve Bloch with Southern Utah Wilderness Alliance notes the admin was “lying or spreading misinformation about these fantastic public lands” to justify its cuts.​
