Labour's benefits cuts will be a disaster for people living with ME. As a member of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on ME #Exeter MP @steveracemp.bsky.social should know this. Yet he still joined 35 other Labour MPs in publicly supporting cuts to benefits for chronically ill & disabled people.
A graphic with a headline from The Canary. It reads: Two MPs openly back Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) benefits cuts - yet sit on the parliamentary group for ME/CFS. Under the headline it reads, and one of them is Exeter MP Steve Race.

Every, increasingly, insane thing Trump does fits the question "if you were a Russian agent, would you do anything different?" To me, it looks as if he and Musk are deliberately trying to provoke a civil war, and Putin will be laughing all the way.

So the incompetent, evil, Tories wiped Labour out because Labour refused to listen to their core voters. Then Starmer and Reeves got into power (because everyone hates the Tories, not because Labour were good). And now Labour are openly screwing over their core voters. What could go wrong? 🤔

That's a lie spread by Labour at the time. Chamberlain knew Britain would get wiped out, so he delayed Hitler while spending 40% of GDP on building the military. He knew Hitler would break his promise, but Britain was ready because of Chamberlain. He saved Britain.

What a brilliant thread. This was true when Cameron threw our country in front of that bus, and it's mind-boggling that our politicians still don't get it. The public want politicians to solve their problems, but because they won't, chancers like Farage (and Trump) weaponize and twist it into hate

It's pathetic, isn't it? Instead of governing and winning people over, they're telling everyone that Reform are right. Career politicians completely out of touch with their job. Doing exactly what Cameron started, and savaged our country for, PR campaigns instead of solving people's problems.
