I believe that symphonies should be subtitled like the latter movie sequels of Police Academy, Mission Impossible, or Nightmare on Elm Street. For example:

Say you read one book a month. If you buy the book at your indie, it might cost a few more dollars than from a megaretailer. Now imagine if 9 more people in your community made that switch. What may feel like a small thing is often actually big, especially when we work together 💓

I’m sure you’ve seen Martha Wells on the topic of the use of AI—she is wonderfully forthright… And, of course in the Murderbot Universe we know that if they killed all the humans there would be no one to make media! [and no scientific research…] Clutches function!
Text from Artificial Condition:

Picking up on my reaction, ART said,
What does it want?
To kill all the humans, I answered.
I could feel ART metaphorically clutch its function. If there were no humans, there would be no crew to protect and no reason to do research and fill its databases. It said, That is irrational.
I know, I said, if the humans were dead, who would make the media? It was so outrageous, it sounded like something a human would say.

I love it when our ancestors predicted the future. These French illustrations tell us what people in ca 1910 thought the world would be like a century later. Some of these were pretty close! Let's take a look. (original here: gallica.bnf.fr/ark:/12148/b...)

9. Instead, historians like Sutton in his book CHOSEN LAND shift the line of inquiry. Instead of trying to measure who is or who isn't Christian, he asks a different question: "Do the social norms and political systems favor Christianity over other religions?" The answer, he demonstrates, is yes.
