Live the kind of life that causes people to celebrate your good deeds, your sense of humour, and you yourself. As devastated as I am about Dolly Parton and Tim Curry, we were all absolutely lucky to get to experience their energies growing up, even if only in passing.

Tim Curry has been struggling with his health for a while now but damn, what a one-two gut punch. The two most "be yourself. Be your freaky trashy self" people of all time dying one after the other hurts pretty bad.

I now fervently believe this. Relatedly, I think celebrating good news and embracing joy are equally radical. You have to remember what you’re fighting for. We cannot sustainably organize around sorrow.

Three panel comic. Panel 1: three friends sit around a table. The guy in the middle looks downtrodden and his friends are trying to comfort him. The friend to the left says, “look man— I know you’re sad about the breakup.” Panel 2: “So I invited the Bongo Dolphin.” Entering stage right is a dolphin standing upright, wearing a straw hat, sunglasses, a Cuba Vera patterned shirt, and is playing the bongos. Panel 3: the sad friend is coyly looking away trying to hide a smile. His two friends and the Bongo Dolphin are smiling with him. The friend on the left says, “I see a smile…”

What a glorious, glorious fun summer this was. Go came out and about a week or so later my wife and I saw Pokemon music in concert and seeing people walk around the venue going 'i saw a Charmander over there!' was TIMELESS stuff. Pokemon was real! People rode bikes to hatch eggs! It was amazing!

A lot of people (accurately) point out that premium video games are cheaper today than they were 30 years ago thanks to inflation, but discussed less often is how much bigger the margins are for game companies now that sales are 80-90% (soon to be 100%) digital. No more retail or packaging costs!

moreover, any artist that succumbs to generative AI as a "helper" in the process is an artist no more. you are to the medium what mold is to a dwelling. an illness, a poisonous growth that threatens the very foundation while damaging any living being around it.

Can confirm (without spoiling anything at all) that the TADC finale is an incredible achievement for animation as a whole, let alone trans creators Stuck the landing in ways I did not see coming and couldn't fathom working as well as it did. Two days later and I'm still stunned. STUNNED.

The older boy attempts to insult him by saying "you're a girl." The small boy wears a Sailor Moon t-shirt. The older boy attempts to insult him by saying "you're a girl." The small boy considers this statement deeply. She confronts the older boy with a smile on her face. She has long hair, ,ong eyelashes and a black dress. She says "yeah, you were right. I am a girl." The boy insults her by saying "you are a boy."

Like I wanna improve cause I wanna do my faves justice. I want everyone to see why I love them and feel that love too.

I’m gonna mute the word “distraction” for the next 72 hours. None of this is a distraction from anything else, the US Government is, and has been, a death cult run by rapists. Every atrocity they commit is its own reward.
