What a glorious, glorious fun summer this was. Go came out and about a week or so later my wife and I saw Pokemon music in concert and seeing people walk around the venue going 'i saw a Charmander over there!' was TIMELESS stuff. Pokemon was real! People rode bikes to hatch eggs! It was amazing!

A lot of people (accurately) point out that premium video games are cheaper today than they were 30 years ago thanks to inflation, but discussed less often is how much bigger the margins are for game companies now that sales are 80-90% (soon to be 100%) digital. No more retail or packaging costs!
