my son ate today. he was difficult to unwrap from my hand today when he grabbed it, but he was still very careful not to bite my hand despite being in full food mode as i worked on slowly unwrapping him. he is. SO CUTE. #keykpets #keykmics

Panel 1: “It’s FOOD TIME” says the text around jeyk as they brandish a pair of tongs holding a sausage. “Tools! keyk, tongs, reptile hot dog” “feat. Bofrot 🩷”
Panel 2: “omg” Bofrot is eyeing the hotdog presented to him.
Panel 3: “OMG” Bofrot awkwardly chomps into it stretching his jaw. “NOM”
Panel 4: keyk clasps their hands together in awe saying, “Wow. So flexible.” “dangle…” Bofrot is eating his hot dog upside down as he hangs out of his enclosure. “nom”
Panel 5: keyk: “Ok, please eat inside though.” Their hand is shown pushing Bofrot back inside his enclosure.
Panel 6: Shows keyk pulling their hands together back with Bofrot wrapped all around it, and Bofrot NOT in the enclosure. “wrap!!” keyk: “Oh…oops. His grip is stronger now though? So cool. He has my hand, lol.”
Panel 7: Zoom in on Bofrot enjoying his hot dog while still wrapped around keyk’s hand. keyk: “…He’ll let go. Eventually.” “snake hug so cute omg” bofrot’s thought bubble: “yum”

I forgot to even quote any of the amazing gun descriptions. "Some gunmen may prefer their .45 Colt 1911A variant to be named after a fuzzy South American mammal. or...

The kind of gun that the old professor with the vital
clue who is being attacked by the bad guys tries
to grab out of his desk drawer but they’re too fast
for him and he never gets a chance to shoot it so
the PCs have to rescue him. Different name, same

From the 5-min pilot of "Redline", directed by Takeshi Koike 7 years before the film's release (and not reused in the film). It's still just as rare to see such long proof-of-concepts produced for Japanese animated films projects. Full video >> www.catsuka.com/player/redli...

A terrifying human (keyk) eyes the basket from the door of the snake enclosure. Eventually a wrinkly snake (“wrinkly & in BLUE 🩷”) that “can’t see” due to his faded blue eyecaps pops out of the basket. The snake’s thought bubble says, “omg FOOD???”

The terrifying human responds: “Nope.”

If you're ever in Tokyo riding the Tozai line (light blue subway line), you may wonder why the doors closing melody sounds intense. It's because every stop on the line connects to make a full song, and I love it so much. This is the outbound melody (towards Chiba): www.youtube.com/watch?v=EUxg...

I was part of a free Ivalice Anthology zine organized by Glassshard (glassshard.tumblr.com) in...2021? I never posted it outside the zine itself, so here it is. Features Alma and Isilud. [1/2] #FFT #FinalFantasyTactics #FinalFantasy

Alma steels herself to attempt to break away from her kidnapper, Isilud.

Alma: Kh--!

She pushes him into the pond Isilud's chocobo is drinking from. Caught off guard, the chocobo lets out a loud WARK!! as the two fall into the water.

Isilud: ......
(He wrings out his robes.)
Alma: HMPH!
(Alma's restraints seem to have increased, binding her at her elbows now rather than her wrists as before. Even so, she appears undeterred, still ready to fight her way out should she find another opportunity.)
Isilud: Stubborn, aren't you, Alma? Just what are you scheming?
(He is still working on wringing his clothes out.)
Alma: I'll not answer to a pathetic sopping wet knave. But I confess I expected quite a bit more from an esteemed Temple Knight.
Isilud: Pfft...
Isilud: Reckless and brazen. ...You remind me of my sister.
Alma: Are the Temple Knights wont to patronize as well?

(Isilud sits himself by the campfire where a pot of soup is cooking.)
Isilud: Forgive me. That was not my intention. However... The night approaches. While I commend your attempts to elude me thus far, I suggest you suspend your plans for now.
Isilud: For your safety...
Isilud: Please stay the night.
Alma: ...Obviously.
(fwsh)
(She sinks next to Isilud, the two leaning against the slumbering chocobo. Isilud is visibly uncomfortable. Alma is plainly irate. Neither dares to look the other in the eye.)
Isilud: ...
Isilud: Besides! I can't finish this myself. And I'm sure the both of us would benefit from a full meal.
Alma: ...

Isilud: Here.
(He hands her a bowl of soup.)
Isilud: I promise it's not poisoned. I do have my pride as a Temple Knight after all, regardless of what you believe.
(Alma stares at the bowl now in her hands. The furrow in her brow deepens. Eventually she brings the bowl to her lips.)
Alma: I won't thank you.
Isilud: ...Of course.

All of our art is inspired by real birds, this one is just a little extra special. I've had the pleasure to know Ara since I was a child, she is my oldest companion. She's sweet, hilarious, and absolutely loves making people laugh (and stealing apples). Meet the whole flock!🦜➡️ tinyurl.com/v5sry3m8

I'm learning about Ino Heitaro Mononoke Roku, a classic story of a young samurai haunted for 30 days and nights by yokai and I love how often the various illustrations adapted from the tale convey mundane annoyance with these supernatural intrusions rather than outright terror.

A giant hand reaching through a door. The hands fingertip split into more hands, some of those hands have hands. Heitaro looks unimpressed.

Heitaro accidentally putting his foot on a creature laying in a sparse patch of grass and making a face that says "ewww" more than "AHHHH"

A face pops out of a wall while Heitaro sits with his hand boredly in one hand with his back turned to it

Spectral heads on spikes surround Heitaro's futon. He sleeps.
