I'm always down for some musical journeys with Johan and Fred. I love this song and I'm super pumped for the new album (it's got a bunch of great collabs). #vehlinggo #SallyShapiro #JohanAgebjorn #FredVentura #ItaloDisco #SwedishDisco

100%. It's not a coincidence that his three worst movies are the ones he wrote and directed, while his best movies were directed by (chronologically) Rob Reiner, Harold Becker, Mike Nichols, David Fincher, Bennett Miller, and Danny Boyle.

In add. to below, I've intervwed some of the sndtrck artists like 5 times during which more cool Drive anecdotes have popped up. I've tried but can't think of anything grand to say today about the film or soundtrack that I haven't already said or written. So I'll just say, happy 15th bday Drive!

Not much to say at 15 that hasn't already been said. The film and its music are classics. Still.

Happy 15th anniversary to Drive! Here's a long-form piece about the soundtrack from back when the film was merely 5. Features interviews with some musicians from the soundtrack plus musicians inspired by it. vehlinggo.com/2016/09/07/d...

Published this ~7,000-word Drive piece 10 years ago today, which means Drive is nearing the 15th anniversary of its wide theatrical release (9/16/11). 10 years! Also, 15 years! #DriveSoundtrack vehlinggo.com/2016/09/07/d...
