Interestingly, in Loper Bright vs Raimondo, the conservative majority on SCOTUS ruled just last year that the judiciary can in fact overrule regulatory decisions made by the executive branch especially when those decisions are not specified by Congress.

No one's blaming Democrats for causing this crisis, but yes, many of them are failing to meet this moment. One Democratic senator could bring the chamber to a halt. House Dems can go to fed agencies being gutted by Musk with cameras in tow. Governors can push back. State AGs can bring lawsuits.

This is Sharpie gate but worse. Trump is caught foolishly saying he turned on the tap to fight CA wildfires. So he opens up some dams to try and make it true. Of course, this doesn't help the fires at all and is actually a dangerously, foolish stunt.
