a helpful guide: the woman is wearing embracing a 50s aesthetic but the decor and the guy look normal: some kind of tradwife thing! approach with caution! woman and man are wearing 50s clothes and the house is full of kitschy bullshit: rockabilly perverts, no worries.

This is from a 1950s coloring book I have about the three little kittens who lost their mittens. I love the addition of this fabulous Auntie Katie character. There was no author or artist cited in the book!

A simple illustration of bold black lines on white paper of a longhaired cat on a fancy tasseled pillow, wearing a beaded bracelet on one foreleg, a necklace with heart pendant, and ferronnière (like a necklace that is draped across the forehead). Text at the bottom reads “The Three Little Kittens’ Auntie Katie”.

Crumbs. I seem to have gained 5000 followers since the US election and haven’t been able to keep track of who they are. If you’re new, welcome. If you’re old, howdy. Show me your pets if you’ve got ‘em. Here are my cats, Bixby Snyder and Martha Dumptruck.

Two tabby Maine Coon cats on a bed. The one in the background is silver and the one in the front is brown. They look very wild with enormous ear tufts. They are extremely friendly.

Like that's the entire point. He's not "just" Angel's rapist/abuser it's not that simple. It's never that simple. He's not a boogeyman. He's Angel's boss he literally owns his soul he controls the money Angel makes and Angel was clearly shown to have had love for him. That's the fucking point +

I've been meaning to say something and my head hurts so whatever idc I think referring to Val as"Angel's rapist" is reductive and simplistic to the point that it's insulting to the care that's clearly put into shaping their dynamic. Like if he was JUST "the rapist" Angel would just. Leave +

Poison was written from a personal perspective as he relates to Angel's trauma as an SA survivor. The song is about self blame and the song's genre contrasting with the scene and lyrics is meant to represent Angel's disassociation with his situation.

The music in Hazbin is always meant to underline the sincerity of the series, not the comedy. Even funny songs are meant to be sincere overall, such as It Starts With Sorry's comedy comes from Pentious earnest nature.

This...felt like a stab in the heart. Poison is probably the one song from the soundtrack we listen to the most and knowing that it comes 'from a personal perspective' makes it hit that much more.
