Well, I'm going to have to find a new skincare range. Aveda's discontinuing the stuff I've been using without issue for years, and their new range is too scented for my sensitive skin, and mostly aimed at normal/oily skin types, not dry.

Slowly trying to clear things out to make more space and some of the things are very small but very baffling. I have just chucked out three pairs of headphones/earphones and have two more pairs waiting for spouse to tell me which is his and which is mine. I still have three pairs.

this is possibly the most boring complaint ever, but I can't seem to buy effective washing up sponges any more. The scouring bit doesn't scour any more, and it's getting harder to actually be able to effectively clean dishes. We don't have space from a dishwasher, this is annoying.

It is new washing machine arrival day. In accordance with tradition, I have recoiled from the state of the floor and walls behind the old one, accidentally flooded a cupboard and the floor after detaching the old washing machine drain pipe, and grumpily wiped it up.

I will say that Bosch customer services have been pretty good during the whole broken washer dryer saga, with the exception of their timescales. I contacted them on August 12th, the earliest they could send an engineer was August 19th. (c)

I am so over not having a working washing machine. The laundry is piling up, I have anxiety about getting through it once we do have a working machine again, and the engineer is due tomorrow. It's one of the modern conveniences I do NOT want to be without.
