The apple tree festival was just wall to wall families with little kids. I am not sure if it's more so than past years or if I just didn't notice. Obviously mine isn't really at the interact and make friends stage, but I look forward to future years.

Rewatching DS9 really puts a magnifying lens on why the newer Trek shows just don’t grab me that much. Strange New Worlds would be way better if it had a million episodes per season and you could get entire episodes devoted to Carol Kane having a spa day.

While nap trapped, I for some reason looked at reviews of my local library, many of which are completely bonkers. A guy who got trespassed and is calling security tyrants still have 3 stars. Someone gave 1 star because the library wasn't open when they wanted to visit.

I did the math and if I switch to days and pick up a shift once a month, I'd actually come out ahead from my differential. On my unit day shift slots are hard to get, but at least I'm steadily accruing seniority. (And the experience to deal with the vibes)
