I have lived outside of the US and ever since I've been back I have considered now and then moving elsewhere again but honestly MAGA chuds sending me death threats and graphic threats of violence and calling me slurs and reporting me to ICE (even though I am a US citizen) and all that really has me set on staying in this country until I die and making sure my ashes stay here too, because how can I pass up the fact that my mere existence is filling these hateful losers with stress hormones? They may not know what stress does to the body, and they may not have skills to cope with that stress, but I sure as hell do, and I am not above weaponizing my simple existence to shorten the lifespan of hideous bigots and lower their quality of life.
Genuinely, I am not mean enough. They deserve worse.
To all my trans friends, disabled friends, women friends, leftist friends, gay friends, working class friends, immigrant friends, all my friends on the fringes, to each of you who in some way represent something these pathological bigots hate: bless you, bless you, bless you.
Please realize how precious and how powerful your life is, that just your continued existence causes these people psychological distress. You might be feeling bad about yourself because you forgot something, you did something wrong, there is something you're not good at, your body is weird, your bank account is small. But you need to understand that the bigots do not need you to perform as your ideal self for you to have power over them through their hatred. Your life is the sharpest spear and the fastest bullet. Your peace is their struggle. Your smile is their grief. When you feel content with yourself, with all your flaws and all the problems in your life, and you embrace being the weird little gremlin you are deep inside, remember this is a devastating blow to the bigot.
