Thanks! I try to at least XD I meant to cut down on the size of games after Weird and Unfortunate, but Izrand's core concepts kinda work better with a big game and I ran with it, so uh failed to make a smaller game in this case XD :DDD

Trying not to repeat history with Izrand Allure, but to be honest it's also turning out to be very big, but the dungeons are brisker and the story moves faster, so hopefully I can wrap it up in a way that's satisfying without being too drawn out :DDD

I think some of it comes down to planning. I absolutely wanted to give people more time with Dottie, and I absolutely wanted to go crazy with the final dungeon and the lead up to that, but they perhaps come as the cost of good pacing and wrapping things up at a satisfying point.

Phenomenal read, thanks so much for this, really enjoyed hearing your thoughts :DDD Endings and wrapping things up are two things I weirdly (ha) really struggle with. Luxaren also had a similar issue where it lasts longer (for better or worse) than people expect.

i still like mistria and i think it's well worth the price but man, it really starts to unravel after the first year. there's a pretty severe mismatch between the mines content, the town progression content, and the pace of level-ups and relationships. and then half the relationships are meaningless

After about 170 hours on and off over the course of the last year, I've beaten Zakuzaku Actors! I'm gonna compile my thoughts elsewhere, but safe to say it's one of the best games I've ever played. The silly exterior hides a heart rending story about making the most out of life, even at its worst.
