Having the art equivalent of that thing where you get, like, two hits away from beating a video game boss on the first try, and then the next hundred or so attempts you get shut down while barely getting through the first eighth of its health bar...

Considering that the piles of lawsuits from that monster are what ended Worst Year Ever I sure hope not. There's speaking truth to power, and yhen there's doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

The timeline gave me a pretty solid third option:
A screenshot of two consecutive Bluesky posts. The first is InfoWars post containing an image which reads "Poll Time: Who do you trust more, Big Iodine or Big Quinine?" along with options for "A. Big Quinine" and "B. Big Iodine" and the new InfoWars logo.

The second tweet is a post by SPiNDLE (@aiden0.bsky.social) with the caption "beeeeeeg stretch" and an illustration of a person with cat ears and a tail wearing short shorts and a T-shirt doing a big stretch.

Unfortunately, the legal theory du jour since Trump got back to office has been that federal officers can break all the state and local laws they want while engaging in their terror campaigns...

I'm torn. On the one hand, Obsidian Fallout is best Fallout. On the other hand, I love everything Eora, and if they don't get to keep making Pillars-verse stuff, that's gonna be a huge loss.

Tough considering it's completely unprecedented in US history. Maybe a snappy name for this period would help. In honor of the president presiding over it, maybe we could call it "The Cheap Junk Made To Look Expensive With A Thin Veneer of Gold Age." There's gotta be a shorter way to say that...

Homer Simpson: Oh And By The Way I Was Being Sarcastic
Alt: Homer and Marge Simpson's bedroom. Marge is visible in the mirror. Homer opens the door from the outside, pokes his head in, says "Oh and by the way, I was being sarcastic" and then slams it shut.

Wonder who'll be next to get the "You used to have a dictator the US government liked. Don't you want to go back to that? Tough. We're not giving you a choice" treatment now that we're ramping it up on Cuba and Iran.

Must we degrade cornered raccoons by comparing them to fascists? Cornered racoons are infinitely smarter, kinder, more rational, and— dare I say it?— better hunan beings, than fascists.

Pretty sure that's just a fringe benefit. The US is ruled by people who despise Iran and love throwing our military at whatever Israel wants them to. No one in charge needed such a pedestrian excuse as "Trump wants to distract from the Epstein Files" to want to bomb Iran.

Can I count the Oracle Duology as a single game? If not, I've gotta give it to Ages because it has the best Zelda Item (the Switch Hook), and is therefore, mathematically, the best Zelda game. Then Majora's Mask. Then Ocarina of Time.

I have to do it to eat, but I take no joy in that, my real passion is for the twirling itself. When I am spinning I feel free in the dance. What a tragedy it has to come with such violence."

And the guy mocked the question of having received donations from AIPAC. Whether he's lying or deflecting or even being honest about not receiving their donations, it kinda doesn't matter because either way, he's implying he just defends genocide for free.

The whole "It's a hint he was from the Mirror Universe" thing only ever felt like bad cope to me. If that was a reference that would only make sense to people from the Terran Empire, people from the Prime Universe should've demonstrated some freakin' confusion over it.

He got spoiled right at the time I had bought a Jadzi, Oracle of Arcavios for my Ivy, Gleeful Spellthief deck. I goldfished it once and gave myself a headache from all Jadzi's triggers, so when someone suggested I add Nadu, I already knew I wasn't going to have fun with him in the deck and passed.

Fingers crossed this shit becomes way too embarrassing for a critical mass of Americans faster than the— I hate to say it— less pathetic-looking version did for Germans almost a century ago. I'm not holding my breath because few people can tolerate humiliating themselves like Americans can.

The best time to actually deal real consequences to cops is at least 8 generations ago. The next best time is now. When police murder and maim people without consequence, it can be traced right back to the utter lack of will of the US to actually follow through with Reconstruction.

The rise of deepfakes and AI CSAM prove public and private sectors don’t actually care about abuse, but still punish sex workers, queer people, and women under that guise. Credit cards companies and law enforcement punish consensual sex and sexuality, but ignore and therefore encourage abuse
