Put simply, I would argue that the most urgent task is to start the process of rejoining the EU. We desperately need that boost to the economy to be able to afford to do all the other stuff. Let’s Get on with it.

The Phantom of Heilbronn, also referred to as the Woman Without a Face, was a presumed female serial killer whose existence was inferred from DNA evidence found at 40 crime scenes across Austria, France and Germany from 1993 to 2009.

In March 2009, investigators concluded that the supposed serial killer did not exist, and the DNA belonged to a woman who worked at a factory that made the cotton swabs used for collecting DNA samples

It’s my birthday next Saturday. Stupidly excited to spend it seeing the Turner Prize in my adopted home town followed by a selection of Japanese small plates (then problees a bottle of cheap white wine at home) 🤷‍♂️

It would be cool if they, um, you know, put some nice policies together first

And even if they throw the book at City and deduct them 50 points with a massive fine, they can still concentrate on the cup to still get into Europe and will only spend one season in the EFL. It only sends a message to smaller clubs who can’t afford to take that risk 🤷‍♂️

Also, don’t tell me they are guilty today and then the punishment next month. I want the full dopamine hit of the story and a fifty point deduction all at once

It’s this leaking of information again in order to judge people’s reactions before deciding the ultimate outcome. Well I’m saying the only thing can salvage the integrity of the premier league now is Man City being docked ONE MILLION POINTS www.bbc.co.uk/sport/footba...

A successful economy with a healthy workforce should be moving towards working less and retiring younger. Or, at least that should be the basic point of progress

I wrote today's edition of @theleaduk.bsky.social looking at everything that's happened over the last fortnight in Teesside. Most of my writing over the last couple of years has been straight reporting, but this is a bit of a departure.

Denmark, particularly in Copenhagen, has installed floating platforms/islands planted with wildflowers and native vegetation in its harbors and canals. These create safe urban habitats and sanctuaries for birds, bees, pollinators, insects, and even some aquatic life. Original post
