Up here there are some farmers who sell raw milk. They have signs saying it's for pet use. I took a fermentation class at the Green Project in NOLA once where the crustifarian who taught it said that Louis Pasteur was "a well-intentioned asshole" who screwed things up. So dumb people are everywhere.

People truly believe their children are not autonomous beings. I see this over and over again with the transphobes in my comments. They think their children are a direct extension of themselves. Not only that they are the boss of their kids, but that their kids don’t have independent humanity.

I think hobbies are so important as I prepare (in twenty years) for retirement. My father and his father and mom's father only knew work. My dad was part time well into his seventies and FUCK THAT. Pottery is my newest love and I've gotten to a point where I really feel like I know what I'm doing.

My dad was teaching a class at USF, and so when I was maybe 14 I got to go to USF basketball camp for free. I wasn’t a basketball player, but it was so cool! I learned so much in a week. Anyway, it just occurred to me how many people believe my transgender daughter shouldn’t be allowed to do that.

But you know, I think when you look at some of the comments from voters related to this poll, it goes to show that our position is improving every day, but we shouldn’t necessarily take that for granted. I think there’s a clear call from a lot of these voters, and some of the comments that they gave, that they just want normalcy, they want centrism. They’re tired of swinging back and forth from the far right to the far left.

AI in Zillow is hilarious. There's a 12 acre lot near us that is a wedge that goes straight up a mountain. The realtor AI'd the shit out of it to make a driveway and a cabin that, with excavation, would conservatively cost 750k.
