Ok Bluesky it's rare I ask for help. But this time I need huge help from the #osint community and #speirgorm #speirghorm, and everyone who follows me. I have a goal to raise up to €100,000 for a long time friend and colleague who is going to leave us.

Jev is really clever. Looking back at the days of attaching sequence classification heads to Bert and upgrading that product in a very smart way. I bet there are other classes of use case that need that kind of mechanism.

Disco Elysium style text box. It reads:

RHETORIC [Heroic: Failure] — Alright, here we go. We're devoting all your available brain cells to coming up with a question about populism. Scratch that, to coming up with the question about populism, the alpha and omega of populism questions, and that question is:

1. (Whisper.) "Is Count Binface the Establishment?"
2. Oh god, that's bad. Surely I can think of something better.

I do love a good picture of a pelican riding a bicycle. bambamramfan.github.io/ai-compass/
A dark-themed “Your AI Compass” results screen shows 29 of 29 questions answered. A colorful quadrant chart places the user slightly above center and to the right, in the positive-impact and positive-valence area near “Transformative.” Below the chart, a result card reads: “You are… The Garage Tinkerer,” with the patron saint listed as Simon Willison. The description says the user enjoys running local models, building tools, opening terminals, and focusing on interesting technology over hype. Impact is +2.4 and Valence is +2.2.

So let's start with the obvious bit: Just HOW did no one know who built Hadrian's Wall?! Because it was boring, logistical knowledge to the Romans. Nobody really cared. Hadrian didn't. It was there to do a job (keep soldiers busy and keep angry proto-Scottish people from raiding the south). 2/22
