Sonnet 5 pro is too often erroneous, provides incomplete answers, *long winded*, requires too much scrutiny and circling back on relatively basic adulting matters to be trusted with anything consequential, let alone the "frontier". I'm using it for a property project and it's not good.

he's fielding automobile safety incentives & liability analogous with LLMs "don't release the model", but it's not, with cars we get safety recalls for unexpected failures (and liability) but where's the safety recall feature after AI agents run amok?

I'm not finding Huang remotely reassuring in his Klein interview, he's fielding automobile safety 'self regulation' analogous with LLM regs, but it's not, with cars we get safety recalls for unexpected failures (sometimes dodged) but where's the safety recall feature after AI agents run amok?

Picked up a copy of "Hyperpolitics" on a whim after seeing it promoted all over the place and I can only conclude that Verso have an amazing marketing department because there's not much substance here and the evidence base is weak.

My overriding memory of 9/11 is standing on Grand & Lafayette watching a silent procession of thousands dusted in grey walk uptown, when a single voice shouted "this is an attack on all the Jewish people of the world" and it dawning on me this could be the beginning of a war.

In the US they give out driving licenses like halloween candy, the test is ~15mins, often in a quiet neighborhood, ~70-90% pass rate, 16/17 yr olds crash at 6x rate of experienced drivers. That’s why so many people are being killed in road accidents.
