I can’t understand why our politicians keep beating themselves & each other about he ears because of fuel, commodity & borrowing prices. We all know it’s 99% due the tariffs & wars started by the senile nutter in the White House, ably supported by Netanyahu & Putin. .

Burnham govt cut 5% vat off energy bills, to reduce costs to consumers; Energy companies push prices up so cancel that cut out. Meanwhile, energy company profits increase. Only solution Burnham is cap price/unit for consumers, regardless of the circumstances, make energy companies take the hit.

Fed up of having to say this Britain still spends significantly less on pensions than other major European countries such as Germany, France and Spain, and about two million pensioners languish in poverty.

Remember if you go into a Care Home, you don’t need a house, you don’t need a large disposable income, you don’t need a share portfolio. You just need good quality care & funding to support it for as long as necessary. It’s you HEIRS that agonise about their (unearned) inheritance of house & money.

This is the one thing which still really annoys me, the dismissal of all Starmer achieved in such a short time by people who clearly just didn't like him. I won't criticise Burnham for fun but I haven't seen any evidence of these great comms skills, he's simply re-announcing existing policy.

Agreed, Starmer worked tirelessly to cement a stronger relationship with Europe but also internationally. The existing changes, can be laid at Starmers feet, although Burnham will take credit. Starmers mistake he didn't publicise his gains, but that doesn't mean he didn't acheive them.

Reform councils focus on Reform For example in Kent they spent £600,000 on just 8 parking spaces for senior Reform Councillors whilst slashing adult care, impacting 18,000 vulnerable adults Another Council shuts down 10 nurseries but I bet the Council has a big stock of Union and St George flags

What is it with Burnham & booze? Freebies for pubs, alcohol at football matches, photo-opps. Consumption is wholly voluntary, not a cost of living issue. The cost of alcohol damage to the economy is £27.4 BILLION. Has he a secret sponsor or just a secret vice?

The language of 'defensive' support is a smokescreen - the PM has committed the UK to this conflict Thousands have been killed by the Saudi-led coalition. Weddings hit, markets destroyed. International Humanitarian Law breached. The UK must not back the murderous Saudi regime.

Why has Burnham decided to prop-up the corrupt, tyrannical Saudi regime? Has Andy heard of dissident journalist Jamal Khashoggi? On the personal orders of MBS, he was kidnapped, tortured, then dismembered while still alive. The horror was filmed, allowing MBS to watch.

Asylum: Set up a consulate in Calais. Accept and assess applications for UK asylum ONLY there. Do approve genuine humanitarian needs with a strong UK link. Publicise in France that boat arrival NEVER leads to a residence permit but at best confinement & temporary subsistence prior to repatriation

Sadly, if gas & so electricity is made cheaper, we will just turn the heating back up to Comfortable again. & if petrol is made cheaper, we will drive to visit granny more often or buy that big SUV. Thus using more fossil fuels. High prices make us miserable, but do more to Save the Planet.
