A part of me wishes fighting games were doled out like linear games where you slowly unlock mechanics and learn the function of each. Roguelikes too where you only have access to a small kit and slowly expand and learn. I think that would help me so much

I just played through the tutorial, and it's somehow very accessible and insanely complicated at the same time. I think all of the different situational options (especially presented all at once in a tutorial) was very overwhelming for me.
