Good article calling out the costs & consequences of car-centric cities. Any traffic engineer or city planner still working to lock in car dependent sprawl is guilty of professional malpractice. Arguments that “the market wants it” or “elected officials make the actual decisions” just don’t cut it.

The process for new fighter jets could be simpler. We need better jets not THE best. We need jets we have control over and don't have to ask to operate. We need jets from a trusted ally. And while we don't NEED it, building them here and creating jobs? Bonus. US isn't the only arms maker.
