Sentient’s analysis of 940 climate news stories across 11 outlets found that 96.2 percent made no mention of meat or livestock production as a cause of climate change. This makes animal agriculture the least covered theme in climate reporting.

It would appear that civil society are equally unwilling to mention the elephant in the room when it comes to agri emissions - an almost complete capture by animal agriculture. Pussy footing around the issue by eNGOs has gone on for far too long already.

Initially, there was real anger and fear at the idea of returning white-tailed eagles to Ireland. Now, people take pride in 'their' eagles, seeing them as an asset and part of identity. Ambitious rewilding could help make rural areas far more vibrant and exciting places to both live in and visit.
