Hi #WritingLifeMonthly friends. Sorry for being MIA, life of the chronically ill, I'm afraid. The past few months have been rough, but I'm recovering. I'm going to take a break until the New Year and see how things go from there. Thank you for joining me this year. It's been a blast!

#WritingCommunity #writersky This is TOUGH!!!! As much as I love sci fi and fantasy, I have to pick one genre?! Like Alexander Hamilton, I want to read any book I can get my hands on! Fantasy and sci fi is what I write, but I'd like to get my inspiration from almost anything.

#WritingLifeMonthly November 20: If I could only read one genre for the rest of my life, it'd probably be sci-fi. The past few years, it's been getting a diversity of voices that certain of my other favourite genres lack, and I can't see that stopping even with where our world's heading.

Day 20 Honestly, I’d read fantasy. You often can approach real world issues and have deep philosophical discussions in fantastical settings. Imo, fiction is just learning through imagination. #writingcommunity #BookSky #BookSky💙📚 #bookskyclub #bookish #books #tbr #tbrpile #indie #amreading

Well… horror is pretty broad and can encompass a plethora of topics. Sci-fi has such a broad definition I’d still get to enjoy end of the world , dying earth tropes… but I can’t choose between them… can’t!

#WritingCommunity #writersky Twilight and Fifty Shades of Grey, obviously, as I've said before. Poorly written. Read one page of both and I tossed them back to the library where they came from. Also, I never liked horror books, give me nightmares like the movies too. Don't like Stephen King.

#WritingCommunity #writersky I would tag my best friend Kerensa or my boyfriend Alexander, but neither of them are on Bluesky. Kerensa would be a rogue, probably, but one of the nice ones, a chaotic good, and Alexander would definitely be a knight, for he's very heroic! :)

#WritingLifeMonthly 18. This is a throwback, but I was never crazy about “Harry Potter”. My mom read it to me as a kid as our bedtime story/bonding time. I think Mom was more into it than I was. I wouldn’t say I hated it, but I’m glad I never loved it, because the whole thing with the author is 🤢.
