i think any way one can adjust difficulty is an artistic choice (shifting around level design, modifying player options, etc), and ideally there are multiple options for accessibility, but I don’t think there’s anything wrong with pointing to the intended experience’s option

new idea: you get The Dash that has i-frames, but it is assigned a random 90 degree multiple to your player's facing direction. the upcoming dash direction is shown in the ui so you can adapt to it. you will be whipping your player around left and right to dash through bullets
