Emi Sakura's post about PAC is breaking my heart

The first time I spoke with him was in Ireland in 2018. When you're living in an English-speaking country, Japanese suddenly reaches your ears in a startling way. Our conversations always started with his "Otsukaresamade-su." Backstage, I wouldn't sense his presence at all, but then those words would arrive right by my ear like the wind. And so I'd search for him. There's no English phrase that translates it just right—its meaning encompasses hello, long time no see, glad to see you, good work, goodbye, good night, see you later, and all sorts of other things rolled into one. I think it's the kind of greeting that comes from the way he's confronted pro wrestling in Japan. It's time. As always, I grab my bag and climb into the car. I can't believe the show goes on. Today and from here on out, forever, I know I'll keep straining to listen. Thank you, PAC.

Saturday, during PACs entrance I was telling my girlfriend how much I admired him. I talked about how he’s one of my favorite wrestlers to study and how I wanted to work with him more. Everything he did was as perfect as can be. I admired how he carried himself and cared about others. The best.

when i was getting into independent wrestling 15 yrs ago I found PAC. This stupidly athletic man with an incredible look. he had the flashiest moveset i'd ever seen; i was immediately hooked. followed him through nxt to 205 and eventually aew.

Pac was a real pro wrestler. Left wwe before aew was a thing, told that company to eat shit then he coulda walked right in to NJPW when they were still super hot and went to dragon gate out of loyalty. There are very few guys left out there that are like him
