Bigger concern for me is that the ethics and legality of training data sourcing still somewhat unresolved, and that at least two of the big model companies (three if you include meta) are helmed by the biggest fucking creeps on the planet.

Seems to be fairly prevalent in web/tech development for sure and often "encouraged" usage. On a pragmatic level I still see a difference between "uses AI to do the boring shit but reviews it and actually puts thought into architecture, design, etc." and fully sloppified dev.

Well, your maths is either assuming one officer can cover an entire station or two officers can do an ~18 hour shift. You'd probably need to double that figure and quadruple it for larger stations, plus the logistics of getting BTP officers (not Met) to the stations for their shifts
