From a NC perspective, I appreciate the Haaland commercial the #NHL is running, but it (unintentionally?) puts the League in a position of weakness. “Here’s this player you knew for about 6 weeks, who’s more marketable than any player in our sport. He likes hockey. You should too!”

I’m old - so the first anime I saw were whatever programming Nickelodeon could fill content with in the mid 80s, but if we’re talking anime as we know it now, USA Network ran a block of Sailor Moon and Ronin Warriors back to back in summer ‘95 that was appointment television for me.

Watched the first episode of Netflix’s “A Different World” tonight. It was fine enough. Kinda felt like watching “Grown-ish” with better production and a lingering backstory that stretches back 40 years. I’ll stick around for another episode, but I’m kinda lukewarm so far.

This Clemson team reminds me a lot of the 2021 with more upside at QB. Throwing is a liability, but we can run the ball -enough- to soften the defense. By the point we get to the 4th, we get a gash or two to keep drives going and escape with 19–13 type wins.
