I've added a new visualization to my global climate change indicator page. I will update this graphic monthly at zacklabe.com/climate-chan.... It shows monthly mean temperature anomalies relative to pre-industrial levels. Red dots indicate the year of the warmest months. What trend do you see? 🫠

In the fight against fascism in Spain the Canadian "Mac-Pap" Battalion earned a fearsome reputation as the "Fighting Canucks." They were led by a Timmins gold miner Nilo Makela. Another hero was Chicago steelworker Milton Herndon who led a machine-gun company for the Mac-Paps. No pasaran.

There was a student walkout for Palestine today at McGill and about ⅔ of my students didn’t show up for class. The ⅓ that did show up did so because they thought it would be weird to have a walkout if you didn’t actually walk out of class. The kids are alright 🇵🇸
