Doing advance voting for the municipal election and apparently the place has been slammed since 8 am, lineups everywhere. The poll workers are shocked at how busy it is. Either it’s high interest for local voting or people are getting ahead of things with two elections underway.

Okay so provincial politics time, because it’s BC and we treat politics as a spectator sport. In about an hour Premier David Eby is expected to announce a snap election, two years early, ostensibly to bolster the province to fight Trump tariffs but more driven by the insanity across the aisle.

Not big on a snap election in BC. I'm sure the NDP would win in a rout because the vote on the right would be split between the "Not The BC Liberals, Really, Ignore The Painted-Over Sign Over There" party and the "We Hate Everything BC" bunch, neither of which have a lot of cash on hand.
