Oh, the enshittification of editing assistance software... I add a comma after "and" to go into a sub-clause, it tells me to remove the comma. I use no comma after "and" because it is a conjunction and I don't use the Oxford comma, it tells me to add the comma.

"Wasting time" might be one of the strangest accusations we've ever invented. Apparently you can waste 2:00 p.m. by sitting under a tree doing nothing. The afternoon was going to pass either way. The Earth was going to rotate either way. But because you didn't convert those hours into money, errands or improvement, we decided the time itself was wasted. As if simply being alive isn't enough to justify an afternoon.

2 litres of sloe gin doing its thing, just shook that one up. Once these last berries are frozen for 48 hours, I can do the last litre. Then they'll wait, just being shaken when needed, until December - and longer for the one I'm going to leave for 1 year.

Well, finally got answers. An exceedingly bad infection that travelled up to my kidneys. No wonder it floored me. I do need further blood tests as there were some concerning things regarding kidneys, but I'm hopeful that may improve after the infection fully clears.

Admittedly struggling today, have one sided back pain which is worrying cause of "organ stuff", without going into detail. Other symptoms have improved though so I'm just monitoring closely until I speak to the doctor tomorrow.

They are now in the freezer to simulate the first frost. Then I'll finish the process in my mason jars with gin and sugar, letting them sit in a dark place until Christmas. I hope to age one for longer, until Christmas 2027 🤞
