Cooking a roast dinner is much better than having one cooked for you, because you can eat pretty much a whole extra serving while you’re making it. For instance, I just “tested” three roast potatoes. Next I’m going to test a Yorkshire pudding.

Perfect soft poached eggs - put two eggs into boiling water, uncracked, for 15 secs. Take out and crack carefully into the water. Boil gently for one minute and turn off the heat. Put in your toast, and when done, serve with the eggs. It is very simple, and it works.

Pavements should adopt motorway lanes with two dedicated to overtaking slow walkers. Slow walkers two or three abreast should receive penalty points and be banned from paths if caught consistently in the wrong lane.
