Maybe an all-timer Fire Emblem tactician, second only to King Ashnard who created a blood pact that indiscriminately killed Daein's people and just rolled the dice for everyone in line of succession except for himself to die as a result. Castor is a bit less reckless but about as narrow-minded.

The more I think about this the funnier it is. Like what was he thinking? We know Castor is a bit of a wild one from his introduction and Cai's upbringing but the more I know about him the more of an absolute mad lad he becomes.

This is WILD, and while I believe Leda's path certainly wasn't amazing at introducing Dagsion because it just dumped a million recruitable characters you didn't know on you, Cai's path's story feels written by an insane person. I love it and hate it. This is amazing; Who would ever come up with this

Also WHAT for the love of god was Castor's plan? Take three literal children to Dagsion KNOWING he'd be incarcerated and executed without another adult chaperone?? He could've at least told Centurio to like house them or escort them home later but he just left them at an inn to go to his death???

Leda spent 5 chapters on a revenge spree before Dagsion became a blip on her radar. The games were certainly part of her story but she was lead there rather naturally and had other things to do even while waiting for the games to begin.

Having almost finished Part 2 for one character in FEFW, I'm really glad they offer a skip option for later ones. The chapters were a fun challenge but a slog at the same time. Yes my best characters leveled to 50; that certainly wouldn't be worth the time wasted on 3 replays of the same 6 maps.

Yeah, I only recently played that and I really enjoyed Bonus Exp and Skill management there. Skills also feel way more meaningful there! I really don't like this ability assignment stuff; I often forget about them, characters have too many and when they're just +3 hit it's just boring 😭

Pretty much the same for me rn, as a certified Three Houses hater I am glad it's at least an improvement. However I am pretty annoyed by all the time wasting in-between chapter actions you have to do if you want to play optimally. :/ I like FE a lot more when it's just chapter to chapter gameplay.
