PSA: The latest NVIDIA App update adds a Default-ON option that allows AI Agents to control the app... Might want to turn it off.. Even aside from being lame AI features, that feels like making security even worse by defaulting it ON.

I get why they’re showing it, but I just can’t make myself care at all about a difference of .36 seconds over .42 seconds. I probably couldn’t even notice the difference. Nor could anybody who actually made the software run faster!

My only complaint with Star Wars Galactic Racer is that they pronounce the planet “Ando Prime” like “And-oh PrYme”, when back in 1999 Greg Proops as Fode VERY clearly let us know us that it’s pronounced like “On-dough PrEEm”. Boy, I really hope somebody got fired for *that* blunder.

…The half-second of spin-up between when you hit the button for your ramjet and when it actually kicks in is SO good. It gives you a feeling of “oh shit this is going to be really powerful I’d better prepare myself OH GOD”.

But really, so many things enhance the experience. Having to hit buttons in a particular order before a race to start up your abilities (and getting a bonus if you do it right), having to press a stick to switch to your ramjet, which is a super boost, rather than having it on a separate button…

I’ve only played through one-ish run of the campaign so far, but Star Wars Galactic Racer is amazing so far. You can absolutely feel the Burnout DNA from the developers, and there are so many little things that just add to the experience. Also: Biddy Blas. That’s all. Biddy Blas.

Yeah I’ve seen it said they should lose 200+ points at once but… why? I’d much rather see a recurring penalty so they don’t go down for a year and come right back up. Also what is involved in a transfer ban? Is it nobody goes in, nobody goes out, or can they just not buy any players?
