Its What3Words accounts filing day! They're doing so great. Nothing to worry about. I'm sure "the launch of our advertising revenue stream" will offset the "lost major Enterprise customer". Ads are really profitable now, right? find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk/company/0843...
WHAT3WORDS LIMITED
GROUP STRATEGIC REPORT (CONTINUED)
FOR THE YEAR ENDED 31 DECEMBER 2025

Financial key performance indicators

The Group's total loss for the year was £12,234,738 (2024: loss £10,644,836)
The increase in reported loss compared with the prior year was driven primarily by the fair value adjustment
relating to convertible loan notes recognised in 2024, which reduced the overall reported loss in that year.
Operating loss for the year was £12,828,534 (compared with £14,133,347 in 2024). The underlying operating
performance of the business remained focused on revenue growth, product investment and disciplined cost
management.

The group has continued to maintain a dynamic operating model, balancing investment in growth initiatives
across key markets with careful control of operating expenditure and cash runway.

At 31 December 2025, the group had net assets of £10,925,686 (2024: £15,659,513). Assets were
predominantly comprised of cash and cash equivalents totaling £6,493,450 (2024: £11,705,453) and term
deposits of £2,649,047 (2024: £5,948,370).

Kingfisher Caught Its Lunch This lovely chap caught a fish right in front of us, after hovering for a while. It seemed pleased with itself, and instead of flying away to feed it to its kids, it ate it. #BirdPhotography #Birds #BirdsOfFediverse #Photography #Nature #NaturePhotography
A bright blue, and orange bird, with a long black beak, and orange feet is perched upon a branch that goes from left to right. It has a white fish in its beak, which is the same size as its beak.

I actually know the answer to this and it's slightly insane. Google pulls from Wikipedia to determine if a place is a city, town, neighbourhood, whatever. Brighton's first line describes it as a "seaside resort" so Google Maps thinks it's a neighbourhood and doesn't display it in the "city" font.

This makes me so angry. Honestly think it should be illegal. Losing millions, and every so often asking the public to fund your large salaries for the next while, with no financials even provided. And others: www.reddit.com/r/crowdcube/...
Pre-money valuation (down round)
The pre-money valuation for this round is £49,784,163.79

The Company raised funds in November 2025, from existing shareholders only, at a valuation of £47,223,384 (excluding the funds raised). The price was determined by the Company, taking into account many factors including feedback from external investors, the company's latest circumstances and performance, and current macroeconomic conditions. The last public crowdfunding campaign on Crowdcube in 2023 was a Convertible, which converted into shares at a price of £3.47452019 per share. This corresponds to a valuation at the time of conversion of £293,339,261. As such, this represents a drop in valuation from the previous public rounds which is driven by current market conditions and strategic adjustments aimed at ensuring long-term sustainability and growth. As an investor from rounds in 2020 and 2022 this has been a total disaster. The company
raised again in 2023 at a valuation of 293m and this current raise after 3 more years where the business was meant to be growing and securing their position is now at 49m?
All this with practically zero updates from the management to shareholders over a 6 year period
Is This Another Brewdog? paulashcroft1966 1 day ago 0 Replies
I had previously thought about investing in previous rounds and I'm pretty glad I stayed away. There doesn't seem to be any point to new shareholders in getting involved when the liklihood is that this company will come back around soonish asking for yet more money. I've not seen a pitch on Crowdcube get so much bad press from existing shareholders (and I've been with Crowdcube for as long as I remember) which must set alarm bells ringing for any thinking of parting with their money in this round.“Our existing shareholders need exit liquidity"
Gionson 5 hours ago 0 Replies
Kicked myself for not investing last round, but I couldn't see how it would be a positive
ROl outside of a good concept.
Now they're back and telling you it's a chance to sell off your shares to the new batch of hopeful investors...
Is everything a borderline ponzi now, or am I just a cynic?

We must keep our income sources diversified, as these vary from year to year, but our modest needs stay the same. For this, we need your support. # Recent Donations # Donation FAQ #### Who is receiving funds? The OpenStreetMap Foundation will be collecting the funds. #### What’s the OpenStreetMap Foundation? The OpenStreetMap Foundation is the non-profit organisation which supports the OpenStreetMap project by maintaining its services, providing a legal structure around the project’s database, by organizing an annual conference and more. Learn more about the OpenStreetMap Foundation on osmfoundation.org. #### How are you spending your money? Can I see a budget? You sure can! Our Finances overview page has more information on how we allocate our budget, and links to past income/expense and balance sheets. We invite you to peruse these and contact us with any questions you may have. #### Are you a 501(c)(3)? No. The OpenStreetMap Foundation is a UK-registered not-for-profit organisation that supports the OpenStreetMap Project. It is not a 501(c)(3) in the sense of the Internal Revenue Code of the US Internal Revenue Service (IRS). #### What else can we do to support OpenStreetMap? Join us! Aside from funds to upgrade our hardware what we need most are people. Whatever your background – technical or not – you can help OpenStreetMap. Here are just a few of the many possible ways to get more involved: ### For individuals: If you have contributed data to OpenStreetMap, or time to helping organise mapping activities: _thank you_ for everything you’ve already done! OpenStreetMap only survives because of the work put in by thousands of hard-working and selfless volunteer contributors. If you are one of these people, then you are already doing a great thing for the project. If you would like to do more, then you can: * Join the Foundation and support the body which supports (but doesn’t control) the project. By being a part of the Foundation, your voice can be heard in discussions about how the Foundation is run. * Join a Working Group and give your time to solving those issues which require greater commitment. Being on a Working Group, as the name suggests, is hard work and requires diligence, but can make a huge difference to the project. * Donate money here. Whatever you can spare will be gratefully received and put towards services necessary for the continued growth and success of the project. ### For companies: Whether you use OpenStreetMap data in your products and services, or are just interested in helping, corporate sponsorship of OpenStreetMap events and hardware helps the project to keep going and be inclusive. If your company would like to help the project grow and succeed, then you can: * Join the Foundation as a corporate member. Your support of the Foundation will be greatly appreciated and publicly lauded. * Donate time. Some of your employees might jump at the chance to be more involved with OSM, so why not give them a “20% time” to join a Working Group or contribute time to a project which helps OSM? * Donate money here. Any contribution will help and is gratefully received. #### How can I donate more? What if I have more questions?
