The "why can't you look like Chris Hemsworth" thing really has me mourning for media literacy. Mary Pickford had a special light and a good side, her cinematographer always made sure to use both. IRL Mary Pickford, while absolutely lovely, did not look like Mary Pickford.

More and more often on this app, I will see a discussion and ask myself "is there any real need for me to participate in this". The answer is almost always "no, there isn't". And that is a good answer. Most conversations are not in need of me adding my point of view.

Terrible experience this morning when a totally unknown dog got into my house, chased the cat and got muddy paws on the sofa, then disappeared. I was out of the room but Rory told me all about it.

I went to Facebook for the first time in forever to leave a message on her mother's wall and now we ended up writing ping pong messages on that wall about all the times my colleague/friend played ridiculous pranks on us and made us howl with laughter.
