Has there been any effort to quantify the cost side of the a.i. question, as in how much energy and infrastructure and impact is required to perform these tasks, that’s at all trustable? But in the meantime here in the real world, justifying the need for an FTE to get stuff done is insurmountable.

I’ve spent a lot of time in the woods, with getting lost as an inevitable result. Combine lost with darkness, cold, and/or hunger, you get panic. And that is never good so I learned to manage it, to expect it. “Oh there you are, right on time. Now get behind me while I figure this out.”

OK I agree with your foul call. He’s out of bounds. But damn having owned pants with as many as six pleats (I’m older than you), that shit gets unnecessary real quick. There’s a happy medium, and just don‘t buy stuff that’s too small. One more, denim and pleats don’t mix.
