A powercut recycled all my device IPs and my network server started complaining about an ip conflict. Checked the router: our air purifier had the same ip address. I had not connected the air purifier. I was unaware it was an IOT. I mean, what data is it sharing and how? My snoring?

Saw on discord a link to a facebook post by the National party which was a screenshot of a tweet (this combination being a crime in itself) in which the National party attacks the idea of a Labour/Green/TOP/TPM government and says we've never had 4 party government before. This is extremely funny.

It feels so stupid, too. They didn’t have to announce these bottom lines. They could have waited until coalition negotiation time to make compromises. Earned something for them. The positioning they had was working. Better than anyone would have bet on 6 months ago. Utterly bizarre.

Opportunity‘s bottom lines are wobblier than the lines on a Squiggle. All the party has done is confirm what everyone I argued against said: they’re probably willing to swallow anything to be part of government. So, as someone who just resigned from the party: I was wrong about them.

Meeting our Paris commitments is written into our Free Trade Agreements with the European Union and the United Kingdom. Farmers and exporters rely on that market access, and they deserve a Foreign Minister who checks what withdrawal would put at risk before he promises it.

Ben Thomas prior press secretary to the National Party & current political editor of the National Business Review doesn't know how to search/read Hansard but I, a 63 yr old school drop out ex cleaner managed? Ben Thomas either has a bad case of selective framing or is a lazy researcher #nzpol
This image is a screenshot of an official New Zealand Hansard transcript detailing an oral question-and-answer session between members of Parliament.Transcript Text Header: Oral Question 2: Prime Minister Asked by:
Rt Hon CHRIS HIPKINS
Answered by: Rt Hon CHRISTOPHER LUXON

Rt Hon CHRISTOPHER LUXON: The Deputy Prime Minister, with all respect, doesn't speak for the National Party.

Rt Hon Chris Hipkins:
When real wages have fallen, power prices have gone up, insurance prices have gone up, rates have gone up, insurance has gone up—all by more than 20 percent, under his leadership, in just the last two years—will he now admit that the cost of living crisis is not only not over; it's getting worse under his leadership?

Rt Hon CHRISTOPHER LUXON: What I'd say, again—you know, cry me a river. But I'd say if that member was serious about supporting people, why didn't you support tax relief for the first time for working New Zealanders? Why don't you come out and support a council rates cap? Why don't you come out and support structural separation for supermarkets? No idea.

*** Just remembering that the tax relief National gave didn't amount to much and only applied to working families and gave more to those on higher wages than lower wages.
The council caps will result in less services for communities and individuals, services like access to public swimming pools, libraries and mobile libraries, etc
Structural separation of supermarkets that National have promised to ONLY RESEARCH if elected back in unlike the changes proposed by Labour or the Greens.
