I literally forgot I had Called By in hand 2 rounds in a row. I got handtrapped, immediately resigned myself to my fate and passed turn, THEN looked at my hand and remembered I had Called By. I am straight up getting worse at this game.

The last handful of days have been great for new music releases for me specifically. We really got albums from the two greatest living songwriters (Seiko Oomori and Rivers Cuomo) less than a week apart from each other. Incredible stuff.

It certainly doesn't help that "stay logged in"/"remember me" buttons don't ever seem to work anymore. Web developers are throwing useless checkboxes onto their login screens just for fun I guess.

Like I get that it's supposed to be more secure than the traditional username + password system, but it feels like we're bound to eventually hit a point where logging into a website becomes an all-day project.

What I just did to log in to PayPal: 1) Type email address 2) Get text with one-time passcode; input code So far, so good. This is all pretty standard. After verifying that passcode: 3) Get email with different one-time passcode; input code Okay. Guess we're doing 3-factor authentication now.

Finished my first successful Side Order run with the Slosher of all weapons. Probably the last weapon I would've expected to win with. Anyway, I'm still having a lot of fun with it and intend on going for more clears with more weapons while I wait for Raiders to come out. Good stuff.

I finally picked up the Splatoon 3 DLC last night. With Raiders around the corner I've gotten into a Splatooning mood, and the recent @gamechamp.bsky.social video ultimately convinced me to start Side Order. It's a lot of fun! Certainly more fun than I thought I'd have with a roguelike.

I haven't been watching Love Island but is it true that they put them on the island and give them various incentives to murder each other and after every murder a class trial is held and if they can catch the murderer only the killer is executed but if they can't everyone else is executed instead
