Finally getting around to 2 things I've been meaning to do for a while: 1) Actually play a horror game in October instead of just thinking about playing a horror game in October 2) Use the PS5 to play a PS5 game instead of using it as a glorified PS4 Pro/very expensive, weird looking Blu-ray player

The last handful of days have been great for new music releases for me specifically. We really got albums from the two greatest living songwriters (Seiko Oomori and Rivers Cuomo) less than a week apart from each other. Incredible stuff.

What I just did to log in to PayPal: 1) Type email address 2) Get text with one-time passcode; input code So far, so good. This is all pretty standard. After verifying that passcode: 3) Get email with different one-time passcode; input code Okay. Guess we're doing 3-factor authentication now.

Finished my first successful Side Order run with the Slosher of all weapons. Probably the last weapon I would've expected to win with. Anyway, I'm still having a lot of fun with it and intend on going for more clears with more weapons while I wait for Raiders to come out. Good stuff.

The end of the Splatoon 3: Side Order credits. "Thank you for playing!"

Sherlock Holmes really hit 'em with the "would you rather have $1 or $2?"

Excerpt from The Sign of Four by Arthur Conan Doyle:
“Dear little chap!” said Holmes, strategically. “What a rosy-cheeked young rascal! Now, Jack, is there anything you would like?”

The youth pondered for a moment. “I’d like a shillin’,” said he.

“Nothing you would like better?”

“I’d like two shillin’ better,” the prodigy answered, after some thought.
