Really funny to argue that 300 of the dorkiest people alive would do anything if the entire federal government was going to steal the election lol

People have incredibly unrealistic expectations of politicians. No Israeli politician is going to support their country being sanctioned just like Harris isn’t going to say she thinks the U.S. military should suck at killing people

This isn’t completely related but everyone used to be so much skinnier. I found out recently that Jimmy Stewart was initially too skinny to join the Army. A 32 year old movie star was too skinny that’s insane

It’s still insane to me that the media’s preferred situation is one where they can ask him questions and he can answer in a way where it’s clear to everyone he has no idea what he’s saying

Imagine being cut off from the world - for your whole life. That's reality for children like Aya. The blockade of Gaza began when she was a baby, the occupation in the West Bank before her parents were born. Now she is eleven, and the blockade goes on.
Aya's childhood memories are of conflict and hardship, walls she cannot escape, and the fear that the only home she knows, however tiny, could be gone when she returns from school.
This Ramadan, please help support children like Aya who have known nothing but conflict and hardship. Donate here: http://buff.ly/2qgsPOY

I said liberalism and fascism are incompatible. Neoliberalism and liberalism are different things which is why they are different words

tmbhmltn.bsky.social @tmbhmltn.bsky.social · 01/10/2026
Adding a modifier before fascism doesn’t mean that modifier itself is fascist. If I said something was a constitutional monarchy I couldn’t then argue that all constitutional systems are monarchies

I won’t question the part about public image but it does not seem to effect US policy making with MENA countries. It’s not 1975, the Palestinians’ only open ally is Iran

Harris Warns of Mass
Deportations and Detention Camps if Trump Is Elected
Vice President Kamala Harris is trying to build support among Latino voters as polls show Americans trust former President Donald J.
Trump over Democrats on the border.Sept. 18, 2024
Vice President Kamala Harris warned of mass deportations and "massive detention camps" if former President Donald J. Trump returned to office, telling an audience of Hispanic leaders in Washington that his immigration agenda was a danger to the country.
"We all remember what they did to tear families apart," Ms. Harris said at a Congressional Hispanic Caucus event on Wednesday, part of an effort to build up support among Latino voters. "And now they have pledged to carry out the largest deportation, a mass deportation, in American history.

This paper and the stories of Mississippians and Alabamans being very racist do not support the claim that Greek life “was born of the confederacy.” Greek life preceded the existence of the confederacy by nearly a century

The longer this Choosin’ Texas discourse goes on the clearer it becomes that some people On Here have made not liking country music part of their politics and that’s very annoying. If you don’t like it that’s fine but you don’t have to sound like a republican talking about rap in the 90s
