Still haven't hit my next milestone which is less than $800 away, so please keep sharing, boosting and donating. If all goes well today (literally at clinic right now), then surgery is early next month. Any help before then will be even more appreciated. Thank you!

I've had more than a few unexpected health expenses due to my breast cancer treatment this past year, so things are not so good financially. I'd be grateful for anything you can spare to get me through what looks to be a tough New Year. Thank you & please boost. www.gofundme.com/f/help-r-s-a...

Trying not to comment on sff awards and best of discourse and focus on my own paper But I will ask a related question: which books/novellas did you enjoy this year that were NOT on "most looked forward to lists", and not published by big five. Don't say mine. 😉

Please sincerely understand that there are many victims involved who have been egregiously mistreated. What has been shared and revealed is only a tip of the iceberg.

Nobody is holding this against her. What she gave is a clarification, not an admission of guilt. Point still stands, she was lied to about being acknowledged for work she did. And Erin’s statement isn’t the only indictment on this person. If anything, it’s the least out of the many.

Someone You Can Build A Nest In will drop in paperback on April 15, 2025! I'm ecstatic to share that Barnes & Noble is doing a special edition of the paperback, complete with sprayed edges and an eerie revamped color scheme! I cannot wait to hold one of these. www.barnesandnoble.com/w/someone-yo...
The cover for John Wiswell's Someone You Can Build A Nest In, but some elements are different. The night sky is now purple, and the details on Homily, Shesheshen, the chains, and everything else are done in eerie greens. The edges of the pages are also sprayed vibrant purple.

So the writer who did the "investigation" and spread the utter and deeply harmful untruths about me? One of the first things he suggested in the Discord was a Black man who would have been more appropriate than our Black woman Special Guest.

Periodic reminder to writers! (Ekpeki's statements to the contrary.) If your work was in an anthology that was longlisted, shortlisted for an award or won an award... Put that in your CV! Put it in your biblio! Say it!! Any editor who tells you otherwise does not have your interests in mind.
