A huge thank you to everyone who supported our Befriend a Book 2025 campaign! Thanks to your generous donations we have been able to conserve the multivolume Diary and Correspondence of John Evelyn (4 volumes), part of our nineteenth-century collection of books owned by William Ewart Gladstone.
