Please, if you’re able to send a dollar or anything that’d be a huge help. And if you cannot help financially signal boosting goes a long way, thanks!

Disabled people deserve healthcare, housing, food and support. They deserve accommodations. They don’t deserve to be treated as “less than” because they can’t work. No one’s worth should be tied to productivity. Only the top 1% benefits from a system that leaves “non productive” people behind.

While I am glad so many rapists are being held accountable for their actions, I know one disturbing truth. If the various high profile rapists assaulted men instead of women, people would either laugh or not discuss this problem as much as they are.

Funny thing is, this wouldn't feel out of place in the early 20th century when abstract art was gaining traction.

In spite of being of the correct generation to have grown up while "Peanuts" was still in active publication, it's always a little surreal to be reminded that the most popular comic strip in the English-speaking world for fifty solid years was about an eight-year-old with clinical depression.

There's this really obscure horror movie from 2003 called "Fear of the Dark" and, for the longest time, I always thought that the monsters from this film would pop out of it in the middle of the night and kill me.

How do you feel about animated works that are script-driven over storyboard-driven? Like, would you rather have a project that's well animated but with a bland story or a project that's well written but with a bland art direction? Say that there's no in-between.

TheJayster99 (SUPPORT SMALL ARTISTS!) @tjayster99.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

If you're still taking questions, how do you feel about animated works that are script-driven vs storyboard-driven? Do you think writing should be top priority as long as the art direction of a project isn't buttugly?

It's a tragic consequence of people being so used to the idea that "adult cartoons" are just excessive swearing, sex jokes, gross out humor, and ugly (or at least unappealing) art styles.

your response to “I was raped” should not be “I was right”

4 panel comic

Panel 1:
A Purple Woman looks distraught, on the verge of breaking down. She says “that man raped me”
Orange Guy standing next to her is absent-mindedly checking his nails. He says “Wellll, I’ve always disliked him and his work.”

Panel 2:
Purple Woman begins to cry. Orange Guy adopts an incredibly smug expression and says “Guess I must just be a good judge of character”

Panel 3:
Purple Woman dissolves into sobs. Orange Guy notices, puts his hand on her shoulder and says “Aw”

Panel 4:
Purple Woman crumples to the floor. Orange Guy, looking bemused, asks “Are you crying because you’re jealous of how smart I am?”

Depends on the rating. For example, for PG rated cartoons: - Allow violence as long as it's not (overtly) bloody. - Allow real guns to be presented. - Reduce content involving bodily functions (e.g., urine or flatulence) unless it's educating. - Allow words like "kill" and "die" to be openly used.

TheJayster99 (SUPPORT SMALL ARTISTS!) @tjayster99.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

Agreed. We get to see that kind of stuff all the time in anime (though how explicit it is depends on the work in question), and Japan has pretty strict censorship laws no less!

If the animation industry comes back up and running, i would like to see a push for more adult content. And by that, i mean bring back nasty x-rated animated romps akin to the days of Ralph Bakshi. Theres clearly a market for adults who love animation and its fun to see barriers being pushed.

I genuinely feel sorry for Tom. Like, Newgrounds gets such a bad rep because it housed/houses so many artists similar or even just like O'Neill when it's literally nothing more than just an ordinary art site.
