We can't keep repeating the same failed approach. We need a major expansion of harm reduction and treatment services, including safe consumption facilities. We must ensure that people can access support quickly, safely, and without stigma, fear or criminalisation.

I don’t like the term BUT do like the policy. As a member of @scottishgreens.org I have always felt ‘net zero’ to be a turn off. A 2 word catchphrase needs to communicate what it means to the majority .

There is no reason why people who earn their income by going to work every day should pay more tax than those who make their income from profits on shares, crypto or property. The government should be looking to shift taxes from work to wealth at the upcoming Budget. 2/2

Totally agree with scrapping the term 'net zero'. What on earth does it mean? Arguably for those who have knowledge and interest it is a significant term but for the general population we need an alternative snappy 2/3 word term. Any thoughts?

And by extension, we need to stand up for our values. Defend the public from groups who use the threat of violence to intimidate us. Identify political actors who are compromised by shady funding or relationships with foreign actors. Fund institutions that defend democratic values like media.

Likely to become even more raw as more people realise that a change only affecting people in England and Wales was defeated by MPs from Scotland and Northern Ireland! If it had only been voted on by MPs whose constituents were affected, it would have passed.

So disappointed to hear this. Any arguments using palliative care inadequacies muddy the water. #Assistdying and #PalliativeCare are both essential but #IndividualChoice&Dignity should always be at the centre. It is within #ukgovernment's power to adequately fund #palliativecare. Why don't they?

Sanctions on illegal settlements are an important and long overdue step. They must now be followed by an end to all UK arms sales to Israel. We cannot claim to stand up for Palestinian rights and against genocide, while continuing to supply weapons to the state violating them.
