Inspired by the discussion on @eightdaysofdiana.bsky.social about the Guide to Dalemark, I got Cart & Cwidder out of the library on ebook and it is so different to my 2003 edition. It is not just that it has far more entries (presumably to cover all four books) but the wording has changed in places!

Went into the office on a Monday. 3/10 - would not recommend * Freezing cold * Train problems (freight train broken down) * One inperson meeting * Which I didn't, it turns out, really need to attend * Up too early * And now need to be in the office far too back to back for my comfort *(or my ankle)

New pension provider appears to find the clearest of passport photos blurry. In related news, whilst I've been able to login, I can't see the details of the pension plan I joined. So pointlessly frustrating and also (although I do have a passport) a bit iffy as it assumes everyone has photo ID

Still feeling rough as hell. Finally gathered enough energy to start re-mantling my house post-plumber after him confirming again and again that he couldn't come next week. Legs feel like jelly WhatsApp comes through. The issue they found is another £1,250 + VAT and actually can they come next week

I'm underwhelmed by this week of holiday. So far I've felt so ill that I've done nothing more fun than lemsip and naps, and it has been disturbed by two different sets of tradesmen (including a pair of plumbers who uncovered a part that needs replacing and who had both front and back door open).
