Pretty clear to me there’s a very good case against this man for mass murder, and I’m saying that in as measured a fashion as I can. He’s order the killing of 234 people under no plausible war or legal justification. I am skeptical he will ever face legal accountability for til his but he should.

The changes to the Canada Labour Code in this new bill are “without precedent in Canadian law and they’re without precedent even amongst our trading partners in the G7.” “It provides the complete and unlimited discretion to the federal minister to decide who gets to go on strike and who does not.”

That said, treating remarks at a rally as 'participating in or contributing to the activity of a terrorist group' risks criminalizing free expression. A publication ban currently limits what we can assess about the government's allegations, and we will continue to monitor this case closely. (2/2)

Once again, CSIS is found to be withholding crucial information regarding unlawful activity - this time from the minister, other times from the courts. And not are there no repercussions, but CSIS is rewarded with expanded powers - first under the Foreign Interference Act in 2024 & now Bill C-22.
