Britain is the "penholder" on Sudan at the UN Security Council, meaning it drafts the Council's resolutions and statements on the war and leads negotiations over them. 

He did not mention the UAE, a close UK partner that UN experts and rights groups have extensively documented arming the RSF, as it carries out mass rapes and genocide to assert control over land and resources in the country of over 50 million.

I Have Organized Elections and Been Elected in China As a Canadian property owner in a Chinese neighborhood where we were dissatisfied with management, I organized elections in 2017 to establish a Property Owners' Committee. The required process was rigorous, first electing a committee to hold the elections. Candidates did not have to be party members, just property owners. Cajoled into standing for election myself, I was elected Director by the owners of 150 houses and served for six years.
